It’s called The Pocket Guide to Prepper Knots. About a year ago, my publisher contacted me and asked if I would consider writing a book about knots that preppers might find useful.
Initially, they asked for a book with instructions for how to tie a lot of knots but I told them that the only way I would write the book was if it was a book that contained only my favorite multi-purpose prepping knots.
If you read this book, you’ll find detailed information about the knots that we tie here a our home quite often. It contains instructions, photo’s showing how to tie the knots and examples of situations when you might find each particular knot useful.
The thought process behind writing this book was that when the chips are down and you find yourself in a survival situation, it’s much better to be skilled at tying several multi-purpose knots than to have a book full of a hundred or more knots that you will struggle to tie in a stressful situation.
This book was very challenging to write but I think you’ll find it quite useful. Especially if you actually take the time to become proficient at tying the knots I’ve chosen to include in it.
